1. Who we are

Rupee Tracker ("the Service", "we", "us", "our") provides this personal-finance tracking tool. By using the Service you agree to enter into a contract with Rupee Tracker on these terms.

2. Acceptance

By creating an account or continuing to use the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You confirm you are of legal age to form a binding contract.

3. The Service

Rupee Tracker is a personal-finance tracking tool that lets you record holdings, balances, and goals across categories such as bank accounts, ISAs, pensions, property, and investments. Information shown in the Service is for general and informational purposes only and is not financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Decisions you make based on it are your own responsibility.

4. Your account

You must provide accurate information, keep it up to date, and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. You will not: (a) use the Service unlawfully or for fraud or spam; (b) infringe intellectual-property rights; (c) interfere with the security or integrity of the Service, including by introducing malware, probing, scanning, or scraping; (d) attempt to reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service; or (e) circumvent any technical limits.

6. Intellectual property

We retain all rights in the Service, including software, design, branding, and documentation. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with your plan.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of the data you enter. You grant us a limited licence to host and process that data solely to provide the Service to you.

8. Payments and subscriptions

Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (e.g. monthly) until cancelled. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we do not store your card details. You may cancel a subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep access until then.

9. Payment processor

Our payments are processed by Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms in addition to these Terms. Applicable taxes (e.g. VAT) may be added at checkout based on your location.

10. Service availability

We aim to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the Service at any time. On termination, you may export your data within a reasonable window before it is deleted.

12. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profit, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where such exclusion is not permitted by law.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless local law in your jurisdiction requires otherwise.

16. Contact

Questions about these Terms, refunds, or billing can be sent to the support contact provided in the Service.
